CT Plus has been a part of the Guernsey Literary Festival 2018.
The book The Amazing Journey: Puffin Explores Guernsey by Bus was read in the Guille-Allez Library. It was introduced by Deputy Sarah Hansmann Rouxel. Representatives of Autism Guernsey were also there.
The children all sat in a horse-shoe shaped reading circle and one of the festival organisers held up large prints of the pictures as the story was read.
All the funds from the book go to Autism Guernsey.
A similar model of fundraising/travel training is hopefully planned for Jersey, although they would like to have a cow as their character instead of a puffin.
The book is stocked without mark-up at Guernsey Airport, Guernsey Tourist Information Centre and Bus Terminus. This way every penny of the £3 cover price is going to the charity.
